Ranking factors on the page To rank in search engines. With these tips and by implementing these factors, we can rank our website on the first page at the top of the search engines.

Google uses around 200 different factors to rank a site. Apparently, it doesn’t matter how accurate this number is. The scale is always intimidating, especially for someone who is starting to rank your site.

But here is the catch.

All of these factors are not equally important. Some are really essential, but others may not make a big difference in your market.

Lots of people you don’t even have much direct influence over. If you have just launched your site and are trying to figure out which aspects of SEO to focus on first, here is a treat for you.

List of ranking factors on the page

URL structure: URL structure is one of the important factors in optimizing the website or web page. During the creation of the landing page, you must supply the keyword in the URL and that must be the focus keyword and to separate the categories we use “-”

Meta tags: Meta tags are the most important to classify the website in search engine optimization, there are 3 types of meta tags that we have: “Meta title”, “Meta Description”, “Meta Keywords”. We should assign these tags to rank and those tags should contain focus keywords.

Content optimization: content is central to search engine optimization. In the content we must use keywords while maintaining the density and proximity of the keywords. In content optimization we also have heading optimization and image optimization. We should keep a minimum of 300 words in the article to get a ranking and that article should be readable.

Sitemap: Sitemap is nothing more than navigation to the web pages found on the website. Sitemaps are two types: XML and HTML. XML is for robots and HTML is for users, for robots and users it will be easy to read or follow the website tracking. Google says it increases the ranking

Outline mark: Outline mark gives ratings and reviews to the web page or website. With this scheme, visitors can rate and can trust the website or website based on the ratings of the website. To implement we can do it from schema.org

Canonical tag: Canonical tag used to ensure that the website only has one type of URL. For example, www.example.com, Example.com. The Google robot sees this as three different websites that have the same content, and on the other hand, it blocks the website and reduces the ranking. To avoid that, we use the canonical tag.

W3C Validation: W3C validation used to verify Code errors. It will validate the site and tell you if there are any code errors or not. To check for code errors go to w3c validator

AMP Accelerated Mobile Page: Every time visitors open a mobile website or webpage, the website should appear in seconds; otherwise the visitor will feel like a slow website and they will go to another website and get a bounce rate. To avoid that, we must use AMP for websites.

301.302 Redirection: This will redirect visitors from your old website URL to the new website URL. Once you change or rename your website, you should redirect visitors to the new website. Otherwise, we lose our regular visitors. To avoid that, we must use the 301-302 redirect to our website.

404 error page: which means this page is not available. If someone accesses another URL to which they do not belong, it will show Error 404. If we do not create, the page will show “This cannot be reached” and we will lose clients. To avoid that, we should use the 404 error page.

Mobile friendly optimization: There is an algorithm called Mobile geddon. It says that if you have a website, it must be compatible with mobile devices. Which means that the website must fit on the mobile.

HTTPS: HTTPS, which means that your website must have an SSL certificate. SSL stands for secure socket layer. By having this SSL, your website will be protected from hacking and Google says you must have SSL.

Domain and age of hosting: that is, while buying domain and hosting they prefer to take them for a long time. So you don’t have to worry about renewal until then.

Keywords: Keywords are more important in the ranking of our website. We need to do keyword research by using keyword research platforms.
